We started out at the Mineral King trail head then spent a night at Frankling lakes then a night at Forester lake. Before the hiking we saw General Sherman, the most massive living thing on earth. On the way to the trail head we almost ran over a huge rattle snake sunning itself on the road. The giant trees are amazing to see.
