When I was working in Arizona my father and I made a long weekend trip to the the Grand Canyon, Meteor crater and the Petrified forest.

The first stop on the trip was the Grand Canyon, no matter what people say it is always bigger then you imagine. I knew how big it was before I got there but it was bigger then I thought it would be. We did not hike to the bottom due to time constraints. On the south rim there is a tram system that will take you to each senic outlook or you can walk along a trail. It is a must see natural wonder.
